Nestled in Clifton Village, Bristol, Nutmeg is one of the cities most popular independent restaurants and bring influences from the Himalayan heartlands to the spice-soaked southern coasts. Founded in 2016 by culinary enthusiast Raja Munuswamy, Nutmeg is Bristol's gateway to India's diverse flavours, celebrating the rich culinary heritage of all 29 Indian states.
Nadu
Nadu showcases honest food full of exotic flavours, using local produce and traditional Tamil techniques from our head chef and co-owner Saravanan Nambirajan. The cuisine traditionally uses the fruits of the land (Nadu translates to land); from the staple vegetarian dishes to fresh fish and expertly cooked meat dishes.
Nutmeg Street Kitchen
Nutmeg Street Kitchen's philosophy revolves around the journey from farm to market to plate. Influences from the Himalayan region and various Indian states are evident as the restaurant employs traditional cooking methods like wood fires and natural smoking, delivering an authentic taste that echoes India's dynamic street food culture.
